Neil I. Stahl, MD, FACP, FACR, CCD

 

Dr. Stahl is the founding member of Arthritis and Rheumatic Disease Associates, PC and Director of the Osteoporosis Evaluation Center.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology and a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine.   A past president of the Rheumatism Society of the District of Columbia, Dr. Stahl is treasurer of the Washington Bone Club Foundation.  He serves on the Medical & Scientific Advisory Board of the Sjogren’s Syndrome Foundation and the Medical Advisory Board of the Scleroderma Foundation of the Greater Washington Area and is active in patient education on both local and national levels.

 

Dr. Stahl completed a six year combined program at Boston University where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a Magnum Cum Laude graduate and Boston University School of Medicine where he received his M.D. in 1973.  He completed his Internal Medicine training on the Georgetown service at D.C. General Hospital and a Rheumatology fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.  Board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, Dr. Stahl has been repeatedly recognized as an outstanding specialist in the field of Rheumatology by Washingtonian Magazine, Washington Consumers’ Checkbook, and Best Doctors in America.
